Please note that MEDIDEDALIA, S.L.U. forms part of a corporate group whose parent company is GRUP MED CORPORATIU S.A.U. This Group has a single Internal Information System (IIS) applicable to all companies in which it holds a majority shareholding, including MEDIDEDALIA, S.L.U.
As part of its commitment to compliance with the law and adherence to ethical principles and values, Grup Med has implemented an Internal Information System (hereafter, IIS) in accordance with the Spanish Protection of Whistleblowers and Fight Against Corruption Act 2/2023 of 20 February. This new system replaces the former Whistleblowing Channel.
Grup Med IIS allows the secure submission and management of communications regarding potential irregularities that could constitute breaches of regulations, ensuring the whistleblower’s identity is kept confidential and strictly under the terms set out in Act 2/2023 and in the Grup Med IIS Operating Regulations. Such irregularities include: infringements of European Union law; criminal offences; serious or very serious administrative offences; and breaches of sector-specific regulations applicable to certain Group companies (insurance selling, anti-money laundering, etc.) They concern information obtained in a work-related or professional context with Grup Med.
Access to and use of this internal channel is reserved for employees of Grup Med Corporatiu, S.A.U. and its subsidiaries in which its direct or indirect shareholding is greater than 50%, as well as for certain related third parties under the terms detailed below.
In accordance with Article 3 of Act 2/2023, this channel may only be used by the following people:
a) the staff of Grup Med and its companies, including senior management;
b) members of the management bodies of Grup Med and its companies;
c) any person working for, or under the supervision and direction of contractors, subcontractors and suppliers;
d) self-employed workers who have, or have had, a contractual relationship with Grup Med or its companies.
Communications may also be made by persons whose employment relationship has already ended – volunteers, interns, trainees, whether or not they receive remuneration – as well as those whose employment relationship has not yet begun when information on breaches of regulations was obtained during the recruitment or pre-contractual negotiation process.
In addition, individuals or organizations identified in sectoral regulations may also make use of this channel, in the case of Group companies subject to such regulations because of their activities.
